GTKY & a little surprise.

Sunday has rolled around again. The weekend seems to go by faster and faster with each passing week. I don't have much time at a computer during the week days, so I look forward to Sunday's where I can at least get one post in before church. 

This morning, before I get started answering Keely's questions, I have a little something to share. 

Remember in my previous post introducing my bridesmaids, this fabulous girl?

Well, this is Brooke. Her man, Joedee, popped the question last week! They are officially ENGAGED! 

I couldn't be happier for the two of them. They are truly amazing people & I am so grateful to have them a part of my life.

1. If you had to choose a country to live in besides USA (or the country you live in), which would it be? 

South Africa maybe? I could go on millions of safari's to see all of the amazing little animals of the world. 

2. Which would be worse, wearing flip flops in the snow or wearing gloves in the summer? 

Flip flops in the snow- I despise being cold, period. Especially my feet! 

3. Fried or Bake and why? 

I like both, but you will catch me ordering everything fried. I guess it's a Southern thang. I need to quit before my poor little arteries are clogged by the age 25.

4. If you were an entertainment reporter, which celeb would you love to interview and why?  

Faith & Tim. I adore them.

 

 

5. What was your favorite book as a preteen/teenager? 

I can't remember the names right off hand. But, I do remember the Judy Blume series. Those were fun.

   

6. List your top 3 guilty pleasure television shows.  

I hardly watch t.v. at all. Really, the only reason I watch it at all is because Cliff will turn it on before going to bed. The one's that catch my attention every now and again are: The Bachelorette,

Happy Sunday!

1. What is YOUR definition of sexy? an intelligent, honest, Christian man with a sense of humor & a lot of confidence.

2. Would you rather clean up puke or change a poopy diaper? i'm going with change a poopy diaper. although, poop is NOT my thing. i'm in school for nursing ya know, and we come in contact with this type of stuff fairly regularly. i'd much rather change the poo of a stinky diaper from a baby, than the poo of a stinky "brief" of an adult. just saying.

3. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?  an extrovert.

4. If you had to give up one of your 5 senses for a year..which one would you give up? i'd definitely give up the whole smelling part. i can go without smelling the stinky farts of my lovely gentleman, when he thinks it's funny to capture it in his hand and put it in my face. i can go without smelling coffee every morning. as much as i could use some on a daily basis, i absolutely cannot stand the smell or taste of it for some reason :/. i can go without smelling the nasty garbage can that sits close to the back porch so when there is a breeze it ruins the smell of fresh air. HOWEVER, i would miss smelling the pleasant earthly smells. this was is a toughy.

5. Cake or Pie? cake.

6. If you could play any character on TV (old or current) who would you play? this one is hard too. i don't watch a lot of t.v.

7. My favorite website is.....? mmm, not really sure about this one. because of the circumstances at this point, I am really digging a lot of the wedding websites. I really like weddingbee.com. They have "classifieds", where other brides-to-be & happy married brides sell/post their crafts, leftovers, DIY projects, etc. It's pretty neat. I'm also loving etsy.com as well! These are my daily websites: facebook, blog, project wedding, weddingbee, etsy & theknot.

8. The highlight of my day is....? lunch-time. i love food :) 

...lately for lunch, i've been swinging by the drive-thru at Taco Bell. 

I've literally ordered the same exact thing for the last three weeks...almost every single day.  

2 fresco ranchero soft tacos w/ a medium mountain dew.

they are seriously some kind of delicious.

The questions..

1. What do you look forward to the most on the 4th of July? Being able to spend it together with family & friends, water, and good food. Since I was in middle school, my family has always taken a week vacation down in Daytona Beach, Florida. For the last few years, I haven't been able to go due to taking summer classes. This year, I'm not taking any, but my family decided not to go [my brother is playing summer tournament ball and is traveling all over]. So instead, we are going to hang around the house, grill, and lay by the pool. I'm down with that :)

2. Are you a hugger? I would consider myself a hugger, yes.
 3. What is your favorite BBQ'd food? Pork. I love a good barbecue sandwich. 

 

4. Do you like to watch parades? It depends on what kind of parade it is. I love to go to our hometown Christmas parade every year. But you put me down in Savannah for the St. Patrick's Day parade and I'd be miserable. Wayyyy to long first off, but wayyyy to many people. I like the short parades with the craft booths set up afterwards. 

5. Who has stinkier farts..boys or girls? Guys. Girls don't "fart", we "fluff".
 
6. Vampires or Werewolves? Neither! They freak me out.
 
7. Do you read your horoscope? I used to get it sent to my phone via email everyday. I haven't read it in quite some time now that I unsubscribed. It's so strange how much it really can relate.

I'm a Leo, so my horoscope for today is.... "Someone could be prodding you to take action today, Leo. It might be best if you beat them to it and motivate yourself. Stay a step or two ahead of the herd. Lead your own stampede and go wherever you want to go. It's quite likely that you'll run into conflict regarding issues about which you feel strongly. It's that time again.

1.If you had 5000.00 to spend on plastic surgery what would you have done? 

• Well, these ta-ta's could use a little additional "stuff".  Maybe after I have kids.

2. Do you watch Soap operas and if so what is your favorite and why? 

• I barely watch t.v. at all.

3. Favorite clothing brand? 

• If it fits, it's bought. I have no preference on brand. 

4. An afternoon shopping spree at your favorite store or maid service for a year? 

• Shopping spreeee. I'm so far behind on the latest trends. And the sad thing is, I'm in love with all of the cute outfits and sandals that are coming out this year and I have yet to make time to check them all out!

5. would you ever vajazzle? 

• I have never heard of such, so I did my research. Wow. I'll have to pass on this one. Click here to check it out.

6. Favorite Disney Princess? 

• You know, I've never been the Disney kinda girl. I can tell you bits and pieces of the different princess movies, but that's about it. If I had to choose, I'd probably have to go with Cinderella. 

7. Last movie that made you bawl your eyes out? 

• Flicka 2. I love anything to do with horses. I fell in love with the first movie of the series last year. When Cliff & I decided to have a movie night a few weekends ago, we rented Flicka 2. The movie wasn't even that sad, and I was bawling. I'm such a big baby. 

8. Have you ever broken any bones and if so what? 

• I have. I broke my left thumb playing softball back in the day. I slid into third base and it bent backwards behind me. It broke my growth plate and they had to put a pin in it. I sported a blue cast for several weeks. 

Last night I had a few girls over to catch up, drink some wine, and eat pizza.

We never got to the eating pizza part, but we did manage the catching up and drinking wine. It was fun!

The questions..




1. While at the beach, pool, etc..Do you cover up your assets or show them off? As of now, I show them off. Now, in about 10 years...that may be a different story.


2. Road trips or Plane trips? Road trips. I just recently took a trip to the Bahamas where we had to hop on three different planes there & three different planes on the way home. NOT my cup of tea. I'd rather be on steady ground!

3. I can't stand it when...? on the weekends, like today, I can't sleep past 7 o'clock. Knowing that we have a full day ahead of us, I am up at the slightest crack of dawn. Although, I do like being an early riser. The first thing I do every morning as soon as my feet hits the ground is open up all of the blinds and let the light shine in! I loveee everything about early mornings.

4. Have you ever gone topless at the beach? Big negative.

5. How many blog carnivals do you do a week? Just this one :( I need to find more one-on-one time with my computer and blog. I love this kind of stuff!

6. My favorite thing about the weekend is...? Flip-flops, shorts, and being outside!

7. Pancakes or waffles? Either. I'd probably choose pancakes over waffles at a restruant. But, I pop a few waffles in the toaster for breakfast during the week days.

8. Water Park or Amusement Park? Water park. As the years go by, I've found myself being unable to fully enjoy roller coasters due to motion sickness kicking in. It's sad because I reallllllyyy loved them as a child.

1. The most expensive thing hanging in my closet is.....?  A dress from Cache [yes, I actually had to get up off my butt and go browse through my closet to figure this one out, ha!]

2. Have you ever played a team sport? I have. I've played softball [slow-pitch growing up, fast-pitch in middle/high],  cheerleading, cross-country, & tennis.

3. If you were a bug, what kind would you be? A ladybug :)

4. Where on your body is the worst place to get sunburned? Shoulders, most definitely. Hate it when it's so burnt you can barely rest your purse on either shoulder. Or, tanning bed burnt-- your rear. That's awful! Can't sit, can't lay, can't shower with hot water.. uhh, makes my skin crawl.

5. Are you happy? I am! However, I've been missing my hunny for days now. I'll be even happier when he returns home late this evening!
